I want to use bike to commute to work. Which model should I get?
When I read review online, most people said they need to assemble or adjust the bike before they could use it (after purchasing it). I am not good at mechanical stuffs so where can I get ready to use one?
Also, what kind of accessories do I need? Helmet, bike jacket? If you have experience commuting to work by bike, please share with me.

P/s: also my work is 8-9 miles from my place, is it a good idea to use bike then? How long would it take in your experience to bike for ~9 miles?

Go to a local bike shop. They know the area, so they can choose a bike for _your_ needs.
Accessories - depends on your local laws, weather, what you work as and conditions at work. There are people who commute in their work clothes and there are people who prefer cycling clothes (like me), but what works for you you'll have to decide yourself. What I'd definitely recommend would be a hub dynamo in the front wheel and a good LED light set (front and rear). When commuting, you won't have the luxury to be able to choose to ride only during daylight in nice weather - some of the time it will be dark, some of the time it will be raining, some of the time it will be cold and sometimes all three - you (or at least I) wouldn't want to have to remember to charge/replace the batteries of your lights. Ok, high end battery lights will be brighter than dynamo lights, but current dynamo lights are already plenty bright.
How long would it take - depends on the geography, depends on the weather. Somewhere between half an hour (downhill and/or with a strong tailwind) and two hours (uphill and/or with a strong headwind).
