continuing the question: georgia usa, I am 20 years old, do i need to wear a bicycle helmet if i ride a bicycle and if i don't wear a helmet how much would the fee be if i get caught not wearing a helmet.? use the cities above to answer the question.

Fod or FOR bicycles?
A) Bicycles shouldn't be on sidewalks. Bicycles are legal "vehicles" with the same rights, duties & responsibilities as any motorized vehicle.
B) Bicyclists should stay as far to the right "as safe". SAFE does NOT mean being a "gutter bunny" - hugging the curb. Safe means riding AWAY from the curb a good 4 to 5 feet at ALL times. 1) You get SEEN by motorists. 2) You avoid gutter seems, road debris, pot holes left by parked cars, etc.
C) Safe means going around parked cars leaving 5 feet of space or so - away from the "door zone" should some fool not look first before opening that car door.
D) Safe means - in a narrow lane situation (at or less than 13' wide) "control" or TAKE the lane. Ride right smack dab down the middle. Minimum safe lane width for both a motorist & a cyclist is 14' wide.
E) Safe means - even with a so-called "designated bike lane" available, if there's an obstruction - you have EVERY right to get OUT of that bike lane provided you first yield to motorists approaching from the rear. Get a good helmet mounted mirror & you can see them coming.
