i live in the uk and always see children wearing bike helmets but not their parents. this made me think that isn't that a bad example or something. can someone tell me why parents don't but children have to is it cost or appreance or something.
btw. i know some adults do but i am going with what i view as the majority of the british public.

does you need to wear a bike suit ( ano you got to wear a helmet ) but do you need to wear the suit in england is the law that you need to wear it or not thanks :D

In England a helmet is mandatory, but other gear is not. See http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Highwaycode/DG_069854 where it says that (1) it is "ADVISABLE to wear eye protectors" (emphasis added), (2) that you should "CONSIDER wearing ear protection" (emphasis added) and that "boots, gloves and suitable clothing may help to protect you" - but no requirement is made for this non-helmet gear.
However, if your body is valuable to you, I would strongly urge you to wear proper gear all the time. Even a fall at 30mph would most likely lead to considerable skin abrasion, leaving large scars, etc. I once experienced a fall at 30mph and, fortunately, only had a large bruise. But my helmet and my gear were severely scratched/ripped - and I'm glad that I don't have the same scratches/rips/scars on my skin now.

Everybody who is serious about motorcycling uses top gear - both professional racers as well as passionate long-distance tourers. Those people know it the best. You should follow their example. Enjoy your ride.
