best bike helmet for three year old image

My son has been been riding a pedal bike without training wheels since he was three. He has a Honda PW50. We have a helmet and riding pants although the riding pants are getting small as well as elbow pads and shin guards. At this point he is not out riding on trails mostly around the dirt and gravel parking lot or fields. He wore down the rubber on a pair of boots this last weekend they were not riding boots.

What kind of yo-yo would be good for my 9 year old son to begin with?

Don't go with a Duncan Butterfly or Duncan imperial--they will only slow down his learning curve. That said their are many fine yo-yo's in this price range. I have over 50 yo-yos and I've never spent more than $30.
If you have a Meijer store nearby start with a Duncan Limelight. It's got a wooden axel (fixed) but it comes apart so stuck string can be removed and the axel is replaceable. It's $6 at Meijer. Of course you can also find it online.
My second reccomendation is the Duncan complete yo-yo kit. You can only order it online. But for the price you get two great yo-yos. http://www.yo-yo.com/product_det.asp?ID=98 You will need to get extra friction stickers (makes the yo-yo return) and I always reccomend extra string. Yes, I know this kit has three yo-yo's, but I think the reflex is little better than a butterfly or imperial.
Duncan Freehand Zero is a slightly smaller yo-yo than the Freehand included in the above kit. I actually prefer it's size. It might be a better fit for a smaller hand of a 9-yo.
Yomega has numerous find yo-yo's. Some come with the Yomega Mania DVD. This is a great learning tool. In the past few months I purchased a Yomega Hot Shot and Xodus II that had the DVD. The Xodus is probably not the right yo-yo for you son. The Hot Shot is propably too advanced, but with some practice he could probably master it pretty quickly. The Sabre Raider if you can get it with the DVD is also a great choice, though if he gets really good, he might outgrow it in six-months.
If you have a Toys R Us nearby, they have a pretty good selection. My local Toys R Us carries the Duncan metal drifter, the Yomega Xodus II, Yomega Fireball (looping yo-yo), pocket pros (they've got ones with spiders in them). The Drifter is advanced, but with some work he should be able to master it.

I bought my nephews yo-yo's for Christmas a couple years ago--I got them each a Duncan Freehand Zero and a Duncan ProFire. Though this was before the Limelight came out. Still the ProFire is a good looping yo-yo.
Finally get extra string. Yo-yo guy has the best prices on strings.
